I’ve been getting back into comics lately. My current pull beings: The Hypernaturals, Morning Glories, Womanthology and Saga and I wanted to put up a post about my favorite queer couple in comics. A lesbian intra-racial WOC relationship and it always gets ignored and put on the back burner. They even have the great visiting the more conservative family issue. Also it’s the daughter of a black legacy hero and an Amazon how can you not love them. Don’t get me wrong I have many issues with the sexual slavery history they gave Grace Choi but I still love her as a character.
They are why whenever we talk lesbians in comics and folks can only bring up Batwoman it makes me want to pull out my own hair.

But its ok for legal immigrants to have rights. the problem is that the ILLEGAL immigrants are here and the Shouldn’t … just like if killed a family member of yours, that would be breaking the law. if you took the same idea to me as many in the country think we should, then you should just let me go with a new gun and also a new car while your at it.
LEGAL immigrants built this country. NOT illegal immigrants. they drain resources, our capacity has to increase so fast that this country will be toppled because of the overload in our schools and generally the public facilities.
And you know what? ILLEGAL immigrants SHOULD be afraid to be arrested, because they should have come legally like everyone else did at one point who came to this country.

Comparing crossing arbitrary man made borders to murder is a crazy straw man argument that I’m not gonna get into. The idea that everyone here is a legal immigrant is false as well. When the Europeans rolled onto this land and SLAUGHTERED the Indigenous people was that legal? When Africans were brought in chains and forced to work the land then lynched, and basically treated like animals, was that legal immigration? When we were all enjoying that fruit and vegetables that illegal immigrants were picking for like a dollar a day there was no hullabaloo about their illegality.
The immigration laws in this country have always favored immigrants from European countries as opposed to any country filled with People of Color. The history of immigration is completely tied to the history of racism in this country and it continues with this red herring we’ve been thrown.
